The Thai Model Design Team were recently contacted by the Team at BOBAE Shopping Mall, which is located in the Rangsit District of Bangkok. The Thai Model Design Team were requested to replicate a full scale landscape model, which would act as a centre piece in the reception of their head offices for all to see.

The Thai Model Design Team opted for a scale of 1:100. The team incorporated the surrounding grassed area, landscaped decked garden areas at the entrance way and roof area. The team also included the adjacent express way, whith the pedestrian footbridge leading to the Mall entrance. This gave the completed model a realistic feel.

For the front and main side of the Mall, the Thai Model Design Team, for added detail, decided to include the individual shops and escalators on every floor. The team also included the outside eating areas on the lower floor. This was further highlighted by the addition of complex illumnations, which really brought this quirky model to life, and was a fun addition, much to the delight of the client. Total build time for this compact model was 3 weeks.

The team at Thai Model Design were recently approached by the Marketing Team of the Promenade Resort Mall, in Chiang Mai. The team requested a detailed Landscape model, which would act as a centre piece in their Marketing suite, but the catch was there was limited space available.

Not one to back away from a challange, the team here are Thai Model Design decided to go with a scale of 1:150 for this particular build. As the model was required to be compact, due to lack of space, but also needed to clearly illustrate the architectural character of the building. This model gives a good overview of the site layout and general massing and the high level of detail in the buildings is a very authentic representation of the proposed materials and finishes.

The team at Thai Model Design decided last minute to include the addition of the blue LED lighting to the roof and the soft yellow lighting dotted around the landscaped garden, which really brought the model to life. Even with this late addition and tight deadline, the team were still able to complete the build in 3 weeks to the great satisfaction of the client.
